I read into it once, because it was shocking that it was even made, but apparently there was a recent discovery disproving the concept of repressed memories and so it was supposed to be an episode reflecting that scientific development, but instead it came across as “don’t necessarily trust women about sexual violence, sometimes they make shit up”
