I’ve definitely turned into the paranoid nutcase within my friend group in recent years, I hate that everything is “smart” nowadays requiring an app/internet connection & account, just to do basic things that didn’t require any of that before.

Maybe if the god damn justice system was just, normal people wouldn’t have to cancel literal motherfuckers.
That’s mob mentality.
And mob mentality is the reason we need to have some kind if justice in our society.
Eventually, people get fed up.
Like I said above: Mobs lynched Black people.
And? When not-mob mentality fails to be effective, because not-mob institutions are run by ineffectual fools, mobs generally have a proven track record.

Actually, yes and no. Some black people were terrorized. Make no mistake, white mob violence was effective in a limited sense.
But also they clearly failed in their grand design.
