    I’d think that the chances would be pretty high that the user built their own desktop if they’re not on a laptop. Are prebuilt desktops even a thing anymore? I suppose you could have picked the parts and had a tech slap it together, but still… if you can do a jigsaw puzzle, you’re overqualified for what’s needed to build a desktop lol

      I’d assume prebuilts are still the default for most desktop users. Yeah, building a PC is easier than its ever been, but it doesn’t mean people are interested in doing it. Also warranty and support if something goes bad - most people will prefer to just take the computer to the store rather than troubleshoot which one it is and deal with RMAs on individual components.
