I loved New York but I didnt enjoy Times Square. It’s an overly commercialized tourist trap. It felt loud, crowded, and soulless. It reminded me of Las Vegas. (Sorry). This picture somewhat captures my anxiety and discomfort there.

    I absolutely love busy (in both people and just visually) city ground level photography like this, but definitely agree it can get a bit unpleasant trying to get those shots.

    Fantastic picture though, it’s come out a bit timeless to the past half century IMO, though the red signage is probably doing some of the heavy lifting there
