You can control Google Home devices from your Pixel's lock screen shortcut. Here's how to do it in the brand new Android 13.

Just noticed that a Google Home button appeared out of nowhere on my lock screen. I don’t use Google Home, I don’t wanna use Google Home, I don’t want this button and I don’t remember toggling it on in the settings. Oh well easy enough to disable.

Settings -> Display ->Lock screen ->Show device controls

Done.

    Thank you. That worked perfectly. I found it really annoying that the Home icon popped up since I also don’t use it.
