That’s all fine and good, but when are we going to get the Sudetenland back? That should be the next step toward a final solution for Germany.

Not a study, but the claims seem to come from this article.

The biggest sin was not citing the study. It appears to come from an interview with a professor, and the range is based on variation across applications.

I only got a VR setup this year. I find I am quite susceptible to the motion sickness issues. However, if the game has a good comfort rating and options, I don’t have any problems. For example, I need “instant snap” for turning with the control stick and “teleport” or “blink” for movement.
Those options work well for some kinds of games but I will probably never play ones where you need to “move” smoothly without actually moving. Perhaps that is preventing me from adapting to it, but I still say “no thanks” to motion sickness.
I haven’t heard this one. Did it walk into a bar?
I’m pretty sure “bitchblack” has fallen out of favor as a term to describe something very dark.
I don’t consider myself hypersensitive, but that was a really asshat remark to make to a large group of people.
I don’t think there’s a lot of value to having the muscle transcriptome of an extinct species, since it’s probably similar enough to extant marsupial or even eutherian muscle transcriptomes. And we’re not going to be building adult thylacines from scratch using this information.
Very surprising RNA could survive this long, though.
But only one of them needs to get somewhere.
“What’s your opinion of the designated hitter rule?”
Ugh! This one has been so hashed to death it’s already cliché. Just ask me what I want for dinner next time.
But then the score should be 126.666666666667%.
Didn’t have enough comment karma.
Sounds like Joshua is in the Valley of Aijalon again.
I noticed that right away too. It’s a common error in a larger set where one mistakes whether two words should be joined or not. And as you say, it reverses the meaning.
Did only a few of us miss this? Seems like it could have been explained better up front.
