Back in the day the HP Laserjet 2 was the bees knees. They were wicked workhorses that just kept going and going no matter what. Sold a ton of them when they were new.

Fast forward a number of yrs and I went into used computer biz early on with a couple people. Did great. Had this trend of hubbys cleaning out basements at wife’s request bringing in none other than old Laserjet 2’s. Business’ loved them and would buy them soon as we had them. Put an ad in computer papers saying bring in your old HPLJ2’s top dollar. Cleaned and fixed up and they flew out the door. Now you could not pay me to use HP.

Decades ago. I was younger and very dumb. A friend and I worked at a Coleman factory. We worked metal punch presses that punched out stuff for their stoves.

One day we thought it would be a good idea to do LSD to break the monotony. Buddy says come here look at this. He was offsetting the metal in the die and it would mash it into weird shapes. I started to do it too. Well long story short he broke a 10 thousand dollar die, we both got caught and we were summarily fired.

Used to watch bewitched as a kid. Learned how to “wiggle” my nose just like Samantha. It is only the upper lip but peops believe it’s a nose wiggle if not informed of the scam.

My last modems (cannot remember my 1st modem) were also US Robotics. I ran 2 or 3 BBS’s and FidoNet, on Apple ][ and PC back in the day. Also an online dating system. They were fun times.

Spruce things up a bit. Talk in front front of your phone and say how much you always wanted a pet zebra or you want an auto car wash for your house. Stuff like that.

I am almost 70 and my wife and have a great time confusing the AI targeted ads. I get tampon ads she gets men’s diaper ads. We never know what we are going to get since we are always feeding misinformation into our phones.

AI has it all wrong, it’s thiel that is the anti-christ.

I am sure there is some magat that would lick it clean and ask for more.

What’s a thunder cat ?

Mouse without borders? It’s Mickeysoft and somewhat flaky but it does the job. I use it for 2 local puters. Uses IP addresses. Maybe some swearing at your router to config it to work might do the job.
