I just wish work didn’t force me to take a front seat and interact with MS products anyway.
For me it has also been gaming. Some part of my brain is always reminding me about all the chores I have to do and all the crafting projects I could be working on instead. Also the cats keep on demanding attention every 5-10 minutes so that takes me right out of the flow if I ever manage to get into it.
Don’t give them ideas…
Just curious (and I’ll probably regret asking): what is the “trans agenda”?
All I see is people who just want to have a right to exist, so I guess that could be an agenda?
And simultaneously half as attractive.
0*2=0 0/2=0
That’s the thing though. I think after acquiring the power you need to keep on stepping on some people to stay in the position. You likely don’t have infinite resources so there’s always going to be someone who missies out. Also what about people meaning to harm you or your subjects?
Same here. Also I don’t think I’d make it long at the top either. I think a certain lack of empathy is required to be ok with some of the requirements of the position.
I don’t think that there’s more assholes than decent people. I think the assholes just stick out more.
Hey, they chose to offer free labor for a company that has proven time and time again to not give a crap about the mods or the users. I get why they are complaining but I at least hope that they aren’t surprised or expect that their complaints will do anything.
Italian and Vietnamese. I’m from neither of the places, but their food is so much better than anything we’ve got.
I just know that the main supermarkets in my country are actively lobbying the government and suing the competition to squash them. But hey, if we don’t try we lose by default.
Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines, but maybe just a mandatory country of origin flag next to the price. However the downside of that is that some of our food is already picked one country and then transported to another for processing, then transported to another for packaging. So my idea is unrealistic. However I like your “this is picked, processed and packaged in Europe only” type of labeling. Sadly I’m sure that all of the big food producers would be against it and they have a lot of money to lobby the government to prevent this.
Oh wow, thanks. Someone under that post also linked that this is not about Coca Cola the drink, but everything owned by the Coca Cola company, which is over 500 brands.
As I recently explained to someone else on here: I genuinely don’t think most Europeans are doing the research regarding the background of the brands they buy. It’s easy to avoid things like the standard Coca Cola drink as that’s well known to be from the US, but I’m sadly willing to bet that most of those other brands would be purchased without much of a second thought.
Got some data to back that up? All I can find is a decline in Europe revenue 2025 Q1 by 1.1%, but hey, maybe you found more recent numbers?
Of course he did. The ones he’s been found guilty of at least. But with how much he doesn’t want the files out there’s definitely some extra ones in there.
It’s the main reason I’m not having children. While there are other reasons the main one is a combination of global warming made worse by late stage capitalism and the resulting political instability that comes with that.
While I refuse to make the choice to bring someone new into this world myself I do see it as my duty to help as many of the kids around me who were brought into this world regardless. The world they were bron into is not their fault and I appreciate being able to use my resources to help them and their parents.
Millennial here. Never smoked, never tempted to either. Don’t like the taste of alcohol unless it’s in deserts, so no temptation there. Tried weed once, also that is not for me. Heck, I even avoid caffeine most days so I don’t build up a tolerance for days when I actually need it.
My first guess would be that it eats leaves that it blends in with well. But by the look of this little one that could be just about anything
Moved from Austria to the Netherlands at the age of 19. I moved in with my (then) boyfriend so that made the transition easier.
It was weirdly more of a culture shock than I had anticipated. Mainly because lots of things (besides the architecture) are so similar that the differences kind of sneak up on you. Having German and English as a base made Dutch easy enough. Got an advanced language certificate and ended up getting the nationality, found a study I liked and plenty of job opportunities. It has been over 15 years now and I regret nothing.
The only thing that didn’t work out was that relationship.
