You may be thinking of charcoal. Coal is a mineral that is mined and is a fossil fuel.

Yes, my grandparents had a potbelly stove that they used for heat. A coal tripple was about a quarter of a mile from our house and we could walk down the railroad tracks and collect a bucket full.
I duel degreed in undergraduate earning a BA and a BS simultaneously. The classes in my BA major used MLA and the classes in my BS major used APA. It seems like it was the same in my gen eds, arts classes tended to use MLA and science classes APA. I liked MLA better, APA wants more concise writing and I tend to be somewhat wordy. In my professional career I mostly deal with spreadsheets and autogenerated reports.
Highschool has very limited specialization. You learn lots of stuff you’ll never use because they are trying to give students a wide base of basic knowledge and skills that will be built upon wherever you go next. It is meant to prepare you for a job or a college major but not any specific job or college major. You specialize more in the next step and the further you advance the more specialized you get.
Water is best but unsweetened tea has a nicer flavor and the only thing I can find that makes it worse than water from a health standpoint is the caffeine.
I think GOG might be an exception to this, where they will never revoke access to the games you previously bought, but I am not 100% sure of their policies.
They are, when you buy a game from gog they send you the installation files. You install and run it with your own hardware whereas with Steam and other digital gaming companies you are just getting access to the game on their servers. By sending you the installers and letting you play independently from their servers gog gives up the ability to lock you out. It’s the primary reason that they should be the first choice for where to buy a digital version of a game. The upside is that it’s the closest you can get to actually owning a digital copy of a game; the downside is that playing on another device requires that you transfer files and reinstall rather than just logging into a remote server.
The most popular country music star contemporary to Jerry Lee Lewis was a guitar player. Guy by the name of Hank Williams.
Lose It! for diet and Peloton for fitness.
If you wanted to extend a Red River Gorge trip there’s some interesting Civil War era stuff in Winchester and Lexington. Fort Boonesborough was rebuilt as a Civil War fort and they do history presentations and era accurate crafting demonstrations. They have a working blacksmith, a soap maker, that kind of thing. The Henry Clay Estate is interesting and the Cassius Clay Estate (the abolitionist, General, and Diplomat not the boxer) is great. There’s also the Kentucky Horse Park and Keeneland. You will also be passing through the Bourbon Trail if you’re driving down from Indiana and by Big Bone Lick if you’re coming down 65.
As another person from the US, I don’t find it funny at all. A bit disheartening actually.
My neighbor was a maintenance man at an apartment complex and was bitten while emptying mouse traps. He was infected with a virus that caused some kind of lymphatic disease that developed into viral meningitis. He wound up spending months in hospitals and rehab and has permanent brain damage and disability. It was treatable if he had gone to the Dr earlier but healthcare is expensive and hard to access so he decided to wait and see if it’d pass.
The money=morality messaging was pretty off-putting.
Every grocery store, cafeteria, and gas station I go to has them. I chose a link to a manufacturer’s page so there won’t be a sales link. A quick search will show every major grocery or convenience store chain has there own store brand prepackaged boiled eggs.

One beside the bed, one in the kitchen, and one near the front door.
For oven fires turn off the oven and shut the door. An oven is a fire box, it will contain the blaze. The oven probably isn’t completely airtight but it should be close enough that the fire will use up the oxygen and extinguish itself quickly (the vent will pull hot air out but not let cooler air back in). Let it sit for a while and cool after you can’t see flames anymore to make sure the fire doesn’t reignite when you open the door and let fresh air in. Fire can damage the elements and seals so the oven needs serviced before being used again but so long as the fire was only inside the oven it should be repairable.
Make sure your fire extinguisher has the right rating for the place it is stored. For the oven grease fire, and most kitchen fires, a class K extinguisher would have been most appropriate because it is designed to put out cooking oil fires with minimal splashing.

And the guy being pranked tried to move away while the prankster continued to advance on him.
The recycling process that France currently uses recovers about 96% of the radioactive material remaining in nuclear waste and produces new fuel rods usable in conventional reactors. Spent fuel rods from conventional reactors can also be used in other types of reactors. For whatever reason, we in the US just shove all of our nuclear waste in old mines like it’s still 1950 but technology has continued to develop and places that are more invested in nuclear energy have much better ways of dealing with the waste.
Five inmates likely escaped from the Alcatraz Island prison and were never found. The first likely successful escape was Theodore Cole and Ralph Roe in 1937.

The second likely escape was Clarence Anglin, John Anglin, and Frank Morris in 1962.

As long as they don’t kill the yeast it will age in the bottle. Distilled drinks don’t age in the bottle because their aging is due to their interactions with the casks they are aged in rather than the yeast cleaning up the byproducts from the initial fermentation.
