Wow didn’t knew XFCE could be customised to this extent. Really cool.

“Subjective to your PoV” is a really abusable term. If my investment makes 100x their initial value, it’s a good timeline. If it makes slightly less, it’s a bad timeline. I do not see my investments losing as a realistic scenario at all.
Coinflip three times, make up to a million for each dollar you have. You can use similar logic for whatever you may want to happen in future timelines.
Realistically yes, he did murder. However he is not a criminal in my eye. The CEO was responsible for more deaths that were preventable.
Try zapret, find settings that work for you on it.
I must admit, i just read the sidebar, didn’t proceed further to the thread.
Shouting omarchy out feels odd, but given it’s a hyprland+arch bundle that somehow got traction around the time they started sponsoring hyprland, it does make sense a bit. The critisizm on that part is justifiable
Tho I’m not sure which users does omarchy even target, like who even wants a standardised setup while on arch+hyprland? Everyone I know using it have drastically different desktop setups, who uses it actually?
Just for donating to hyprland? An absolutely overkill reaction.
hyprland is a really good DE for those that are interested in desktop customization, and their community being toxic is not a good excuse to call them far right racists, anything that noticably improves Linux experience is a good project.
Just curious, since the issue doesn’t exist on Linux, what would happen if you outright disabled the internal keyboard on Linux and use an external keyboard?
Or possibly, program a microcontroller board to send an obscure device input in a loop to your computer?
I missed seeing communities like this.
wow who would have guessed?
It wouldnt be fit to fediverse in any way in that case. If you enable federation, then users from all sorts of different instances can join in the discussion without ID anyways. If you disable federation, you essentially have nothing that makes lemmy itself.
No, Pop OS 22.04 bump does not really make sense just looking at COSMIC. If anything I was expecting a shift towards 24.04, since that’s where COSMIC beta is released.
Good, I want to see EA burning down in flames.
I see it as a great middle ground for those that wanting to use tiling WMs but do not want to dabble into editing config using text files, scripts etc. I’ve been running Sway for a year and my initial feedback is really positive. A lot of stuff I had to look up a lot to implement in sway just works with no hassle.
Tiling WMs have a lot of benefit to those using it, but mainly window management becomes unbelievably easier. Not needing to use mouse for simple tasks like resizing windows, moving between programs gives you way more flexibility with what you can do with your cursor.
Currently testing beta, I could remap keyboard shortcuts.
Go Input Devices / Keyboard / View and customize shortcuts and find your desired shortcut.
Do not delete the first bind before adding a new keybind. Click “Add another keybind”, hit your desired keybinds, then remove the first bind.
I will never let go of bascul.in, that’s for sure.
It’s been 1000 years…
Bare metal is cheaper if you already have some old pc components layjng around and they are not bound to my host pc being on. My PC uses a 600W power supply to run while the old laptop running my Jellyfin + pihole server use like 40W.
Whoever is family sharing with this dude has serious luck
So, it runs on Steam Deck natively and yet doesnt support Linux? How does that work?
The bottom shelf bar and the default top bar made me think it was XFCE, but it’s even more impressive in that case.
