Magnetic puzzle blocks. The set I got came with a deck of cards to give you things to build. Makes a great fidget toy, tho the ones I got were a bit noisy.

The early mass-adopted Internet, where every company aimed at kids had a website with free games, where everyone who wanted to share about themselves or their interests did so in their own little corner so you could rabbit-hole your way through the link trees, most stuff was non-monetized or had easy-to-block ads, and no tracking of your behavior was really happening.
The people I know refer to those people as “bougie” (boo-gee) as in bourgeoisie.

I have the controller and it’s honestly too big and heavy for my hands for longer play seasions. I don’t like it at all even tho I love the haptics.
Interesting, thanks for sharing that!
Sure, I’m interested in what people do with custom stuff, and I’ve really only built a couple of kits, so I found how that stuff was supported to be pretty interesting. I’d be into mashing those two together!
How much of that base is solid, like tends to be the case with kitted Lego?

Keep an eye out at thrift shops, maybe? I assume those exist near you. Probably much less availability that way, so you might have to look for a while, and fewer pattern options as a result, but cheaper and for a test maybe better because already pre-softened through wash and wear?

No avatar because I can’t be bothered. I don’t see them on my app anyway. As far as I can tell, nobody has them.
I was watching some movie, and I was like ooh, centipedes would make good farriers; they can use their body along the hoof to draw a stencil by just passing a pencil along all of its feet!
And that was silly so here we are.

Nothing, and I don’t plan to buy anything except normal stuff through January, either. I’m not doing Xmas this year, so very easy to avoid the spend.

If it makes you feel better, the people who stick their arms in aren’t allergic to mosquito bites. Doesn’t bother them to get bit beyond the feeling of being bit.
I mean I guess it could happen that they are just masochistic, but typically not.

At least the 4 dinners aren’t empty calories, so there’s that. They actually contain stuff that’s good for you. So not really a wash. Plus excess eating doesn’t damage your body to nearly the same degree as a similar number of calories in alcohol form, you can just exercise it away, or shift eating habits to account for it.

Yeah, why do other countries get to have all the fun government brawls?
Does on iOS, dunno about android but I’d assume so

They used sensors to detect particle energy, which is what temperature measures, when they impacted. There are so very few particles out there that no significant heat transfer actually took place, despite the particles themselves having huge amounts of energy.
They both went directly through it. It envelopes the entire solar system as far as we know.

Well shit now I want to know if quantum computers have operating systems…
And it looks like as of earlier this year the answer to that… is yes. Special ones. Well, special one so far.
Quantum internet seems like a really bad idea, though, if the regular internet is any indication…
In my area, which is a fairly low cost of living area, I know exactly one couple who do that. They have their home and apartments where they work.
They are literally millionaires, and their primary home is literally a mansion. As in just sold a ski condo a couple years ago, one of several properties they own, for 10 million profit kind of millionaires. (And yes they do bitch about taxes and safety net programs for the poors. Frequently.)
A lot of people around me do have “winter homes” in the south or “lake houses” further north, but that’s seasonal/occasional rather than something they use every week, and it’s mostly retired people who got money and residences when that was an easy thing to do. And most of them rent out the space when not in use.
They still lock down features, as of like maybe 5 yrs ago. Idk about today specifically but I wouldn’t doubt it, if only because most people don’t realize that it’s locking something the OS can do by default.
For example, if you have a major brand phone (smaller brands that don’t have contracts with phone companies are unlikely to have this issue) with OEM OS, on a plan in which you pay separately for the WiFi hotspot feature, even though it’s built into your operating system, hotspot is locked and you can’t access it.
This is even true if you buy your own device, I discovered, and was very very very angry about. Enough that I switched providers, because fuck that nonsense.
