It’s interesting to imagine a time where we could buy headsets and controllers separately and chose whichever combos works best for our uses.
Hopefully our ai overlords will save us from our mortal vessels.

Yea the gameplay is definitely very different then most games. Windlands 2 was good and they had similar movement mechanics but they also had plenty of things to grapple to unlike this one wich only has titans and buildings.
It looks great but i’m just not sure it’s my kind of game. I’m kinda tired of VR shooters. I never get tired of VR sorcery and blades games for some reason.
I think it’s a good thing that they are available on that store so whenever a better device comes from apple that can run them, that will be the moment they will truly shine. But iphone 15 and ipad? I guess not.
I would love to see someone review that headset! It would be cool to start seeing more high end headsets from companies that have the tech available trying to copy apple and some might work out great!
Less then 1h i’m probably at around $1000 lol
It’s valve’s next VR headset. Code name deckard. It should be ready to announce this year or next year hopefully.
I would 100% buy that game on PC!

Good to know they didn’t nerf bosses! I don’t want to go explore and come back to a boss that was nerfed!
I played a bunch of older games i got cheap on steam deck and i’ll do the same when the deckard will come out. 10/10 games that are 10+ years old are great to play on the go!
Yes individually. XD
Finally!!
That was what i heard but i just looked more into it and it’s 10 thousand monthly players with 1000 concurrent players wich is still really good! Gorilla tag is at 1300 concurrent players on steam right now. There might be 10x that on the quest platform. Meta didn’t like that their game wasn’t as successful as the monke game.
It sounds like you are talking about echo arena VR but that was purely a meta decision if not just andrew bosworth’s idea to shut down the game for only having around 10k concurrent players wich is huge for a pvp VR game.
Yes. That was the joke.
He showed off a prototype of this headset a while ago wich would kill the user upon death in the game.
That’s my reminder that i have yet to beat genichiro… i’ll start a new game after the DLC.
I’ve seen that ALVR does some really good gesture based controller emulation. Not perfect i’m sure but maybe some games would work with that.
I got celeste for $3 so i’m having fun with that. Some elden ring as well as starting a new sekiro game since i never made it past like half of the game.
