You can use the windows utility tool by Chris Titus to debloat windows to death if you want.

100%. I run Cachy on my main PC, Bazzite on my son’s steam gaming console and tow laptops. It IS pure bliss.

Very true. I guess I could have phrased it better. But you’re right, not everyone needs to dig deeper into Linux, a lot of us want to just enjoy their system that just works. I’m actually one of those people.

And excellent, because being linux, drawing attention to issues increases the chances of them getting fixed, whereas that is hardly the case for Windows.

This is the most important part of this whole thing to me. Imagine Nvidia watching Steve shitting on them for having horrible drivers on Linux and millions of people seeing that.

You didn’t say which GPU! If it’s all AMD, then just replace. That’s what I did and everything worked fine. If you’re going from AMD to Nvidia, them install the Nvidia drivers first, turn it off, replace, turn back on

Hmmm, I’ll need to dig into those folders one by one then to find out which one is the non-steam games folders. Also, I’ve found a folder called “grid” buried somewhere in the steam folder, but that one only has the images I’ve already set

So, this is a non-steam game that I have added to it. So, all the paths you have mentioned are not there in this case. They even have different file structure. I was hoping that steam has a folder somewhere for these games where I can go in and add images
