A very important distinction
A very important distinction
All your corporate greed are belong to us
Allegedly German soldiers said that they didn’t shoot him because they assumed he’d lost his mind, and took pity on him
It’s an insane commitment to the bit
I personally dislike how much people lean into video for information, also because I prefer to read, perhaps it’s a little bitter but I get the sentiment
I bloody love Digital Foundry
Sad to see LOTR being whored out like this since Chris died, clearly the other descendants care for nothing but profit
How wonderfully specific, truly a timeless treasure of a game
I found it very enjoyable, great music and gameplay, very fast paced, definitely worth trying out if it’s free.
I saw someone on lemmy recently say they dislike when game reviewers say that “this game is like another game”, it’s prerequisite knowledge that not everyone has, and it’s lazy writing to boot. Since I read that comment it’s been irking me as well…
What a bunch of narcs
You are clearly not aware of the windfall profits corporations are making, and that they are then passing exactly none of it on to the workers generating that profit
I had a feeling that was the case when I played it…
It’s like Kodi-lite, specifically for shows? It’s not for me, but cool that it’s out there
I’ve gotten into Wasteland 2 recently, I love Bryan Fargo and Chris Avellone’s work, and so far it’s holding up. I’m coming off of a Shadowrun: Dragonfall playthrough, so apparently I’m in a CRPG mood at the moment.
I didn’t down vote, but I’d assume that people on lemmy skew towards a dislike of centralised corporate structures, especially when they’re pushing a subscription service in place of game ownership, and so they’re not so much disagreeing with you as they are simply upset by what you’re saying. Of course, I may be wrong on that. Personally I think it could go either way, I think their aquisitions have not yielded the return that they may have hoped for, and I really hope that gamepass fails, but it doesn’t seem like it will. Que sera sera I suppose.
The Linux way, as it was written.
I’d only recommend Duolingo to dip a toe in. If after awhile you’re wanting a bit more, I’ve had a good experience with Deutsch Welle’s german course - https://learngerman.dw.com/en/learn-german/s-9528
Also Babel is excellent but pricey.
Bit of a waste if it was a perfectly good machine?
Usually, neither are pills
