Yup. Fearing the same as well. All I’m asking for is a car, not a Windows computer.

Some people are so greedy smh
I just love how Raymond thinks about donations. “Money is not my motivation.” And forwards to the people that contribute the most by provoding filter lists for everyone!
What I have been doing ^
@PugJesus wya?
Why did everyone get so political lmao
Been using Proton for over 4 years now, and have had no issues with it. I don’t use folders or tags that much, but if you are a paid member, you get unlimited of those. They recently announced calander invites (I personally never want to use them) and it looks like it should work fine. Proton also has unlimited aliases to hide your actual address, which I use all the time (coming over from SimpleLogin.)
The bundle (mail, VPN, calander, pass and drive) is really bang for the buck for what you get, even though you don’t use some of them. You can always upgrade to it later if you wish. And in case you don’t plan on paying, the free versions work just as you expect!
If you have any questions, just ask!
Both public traffic and driving sounds pretty cheap to me. Insurance, road tax and fuel gets me on 200 bucks a month… Public traffic takes way longer and is more expensive somehow… (Netherlands BTW)
FreeTube on Android? Where do I find that?
Eh, I think having a PiHole at home internet and a private DNS on phone is good enough for me. Not to mention uBlock configured with the Anti-Facebook list 🤷♂️
Any big company can’t be trusted. They got big with a reason :)
All big tech is. They got big for a reason. Though I find Mozilla much less of a thread than other corps like Google, Meta, Microsoft. Meta I find easy to block as none of their services are actually useful. Google is a tad bit harder, and Microshit creeps in on every spot and I don’t like it.
Yeah I found that out as I was looking for sources, but you guys are quick to comment, aha!
Waterfox was bought by an ad company.
Edit: According to this page it’s no longer the case, though I still am not completely comfortable with it.
Thanks for these links!
Really depends on your use case and whether you have a spare buck for it. In my case I had money to throw at it and went OLED. Not super impressed, but the responsetime is near instant which still amazes me. Black really is black as well. If you got some spare cash to thow at it, might be worth it if you enjoy HDR content for example. If you don’t really have/are on a tight budget: go IPS, still a better choice for quality/price imho.
True, but we don’t get to choose a whole lot when it comes to Google. I personally don’t have Google Services on my phone and would like to keep it that way - so I’m not up to date what Google is pulling off these days :)
I might have misunderstood this but Android really trying to push this as tracking as a privacy upgrade
Android Google
This may also be known as privacy washing, but as another comment said, this way might be better than just not getting this choice at all
And I helped! …
unfortunately, I share that same passion. Currently working on a 1000spm factory
Such a beautiful pic! Spider up front, and sweet colourful trees in the back. Good one!
What?
