I also stopped buying HP for a nearly identical reason. My brand new printer was 1 day out of warranty, I had gotten it as a gift unboxed it, and it wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi (had no hardware ports on it only WiFi).

Those fuckers told me I could either:

A. Subscribe to their ink subscription plan and they’d tell me how to fix it.

B. Pay $75 one time and they’d tell me how to fix it.

I threw that motherfucker in the trash that day and then bought a cheap Cannon (no brothers in stock) that still works over a decade later.

Fuck HP completely.

Let me get this straight as this has been a busy week for the FCC (Fascists Controlling Cable).

1. Advocate for mandatory lethal injection for the homeless. - Keep your show.

2. Advocate for bombing a global peacekeeping body located in an American city. - Keep your show.

3. Show a clip of POTUS having as much remorse for Charlie Kirk as a kid whose imaginary friend died. - Get cancelled.

I never considered the experience could be different based on where you buy from. My apologies for any confusion.

Not high just someone that uses eBay and has had good results. There’s no perfect option in capitalism.

I’ve had great results and I chose to share them, what’s your suggestion then?

I cut out Amazon completely after ordering from them four to five times a week. Heres how I did it:

1. Make a list (I use Google Keep) and see if you can get it locally or from thrift stores

(Many people who do buy from Amazon immediately donate it after they’re done.)

2. If you can’t find it used or local, use eBay! They have free shipping, an ethical CEO that doesn’t make their employees piss into jars, and they are MUCH cheaper than Amazon 9/10 (not taking into account the prime membership).

3. Buy directly from the vendor and look for promo codes if 1 or 2 don’t fit your lifestyle.
