It’s a huge improvement in pretty much every aspect. Definitely worth it.

I was looking for some reference pictures the other day and the image search results were packed with shitty AI art.
We’re on an underground forum built by some crazy communists to discuss Virtual Reality, complaining about AI.
Welcome to cyberpunk.
You got off easy. I drowned the supplies in the reserve since I just couldn’t kill Casey while he’s talking to me on a radio, even though the supplies would probably end up saving more lives ultimately. Then I killed him to protect May because I didn’t realise it was him, assuming I’d be able to talk her down, then I shot her to prevent her from ringing the bell.
After that I shot myself in the head since that felt like the proper ending. (Of course, I reloaded after that and let it play out the same way to get to the actual ending).
The point of building a rapport with the characters is exactly to make the ending such a gut punch. This is a shitty and cruel world, and you can’t expect things to work out great even if you go in with the best intentions. That said, supposedly you can save both May and Casey by standing between them and blocking his aim. I’m actually on my second playthrough now and want to try doing that this timr. She will ring the bell, but screw the bastards outside. The way I see it, all that shooting would have attracted a horde anyway.
The ending will always be bleak though, because it is a bleak game in a bleak setting. It is what you signed up for, whether you know it or not.
along with the inventively loony left-wing anti-Israel alliance dubbed the New Popular Front
I thought we were the Popular Front?
That would have been true if legit crypto existed.
That’s not a problem. That’s the correct reaction.
Ah, the classic blunder!
Eh, they keep releasing new War every few years and idiots keep buying it even though war never changes.
Badum tish!
I’m quite scared of how AI apparently pushes people in favour of significantly stricter copyrights. This is not a good trend.
That’s USA only. Visit the rest of the world at some point, maybe.
Holy shit that guy’s whole profile got nuked for some reason.
Not sure what having an account has to do with anything. I get the objection on the grounds of Meta being a shit company and it’s perfectly reasonable, but having to make an account specifically for the device (and possibly nothing else - you don’t have to link it to facebook or anything) doesn’t magically give them any more power over you.
There’s plenty of amazing VR games of other genres. IMO the lack of wireless options was holding it back. Why would you turn with a stick when you can just… turn around.
It’s not for gaming and it’s not for porn… what were they thinking?
Does the colour of the skin of the ingredients really affect the taste?
And you can’t take the sky from me.
Are these highly praised? I thought they were at best considered fine examples of a genre that’s looked down upon.
It’s super obviously a joke, probably with a large dose of mareting stunt.
