Not gonna say it cured me, but it helped me a lot to minimize the damage. As soon as that little bit of skin starts to bug me and I get the urge to pick I can just clip it off instead.

My weird thing is I always carry fingernail clippers. I started doing it because I have a bad habit of picking at my cuticles, and it helps to keep my nails trimmed. I’ve learned that it’s a weirdly useful tool, though. It can cut things in a pinch, but no one sees it as something dangerous needing to be confiscated for example.
All I’m learning from this thread is that no one can tell any consistent signs.
If you’re in a place they ship to, check out these guys. Oolong specialist tea shop in Seattle that has some of the best quality tea I’ve ever had. It’s a really small operation, too, with people who really love what they do: https://floatingleaves.com/
😸 “time to go shit in that flower bed”
Glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t figure that out lmao
Oooooh got it! That’s cool actually I had no idea. I imagine she’s pretty mutually exclusive with some of the others.
I’ll be honest, I don’t even remember who Minthara is, so I definitely didn’t get her either.
In my playthrough (which I’m still working through so no act 3 spoilers please), I couldn’t figure out how to open the pod she was in at first. I ended up shooting something overhead which fell and put caustic brine everywhere. When I finally opened the pod she jumped out and immediately died to the brine. I’ve never actually heard her speak 😅
What’s bad about the re-release? I read the article and it honestly sounds like it’s trying to improve the game. I must be missing something.
I like this way too, as long as they don’t make every area start at the same easy level. It’s fun to find places you can’t do yet. I think the new enemies thing works even better if it’s more like they start to show up in areas you previously cleared out, rather than appearing in places you haven’t been yet.
I think you can compare whatever you want. The farther apart the two things are though – apples to oranges – the more the comparison becomes a matter of your taste and opinion rather than a critical, objective comparison.
Thanks for the heads up! Joined.
I appreciate the response! My goal isn’t to throw you or anyone else under the bus either, just trying to gauge whether I misunderstood what the community was for. I know moderation is a lot of work so I appreciate the effort and understand it won’t always be perfect.
Personally I think the upvote/downvote thing breaks down in a world with an all feed. Many people don’t check what community something is coming from, which is why moderation is another important factor.
If other people like how it is now that’s fine, it just isn’t for me.
I think that’s a fair interpretation though I definitely feel differently. I guess for me not the onion on Reddit was something I looked to for comedy, and so far the Lemmy version has been mostly depressing. That’s why I think it may just not be my cup of tea over here anymore.
I didn’t even buy them at 60. This would change nothing for me except further cement my patient gaming lifestyle.
This is a game I would love to have a remaster of.
What does someone have to do to prove to youtube they own it?
Apple is horrible to work with as a dev. Some friends and I released an indie mobile game a while back and the approval process was full of such petty stuff that we had to explain to them why it was fine again and again. They suck.
