I’ve never seen one outside of a hotel before. Is it behind the fire?

Yes of course, but I expect the death was nigh instantaneous for thr victim so hopefully not so much as an “oh shit” moment.
Hesitant, forlorn and very much hopefully misplaced resigned upvote.
I want to dismiss your assertions out of hand as too pessimistic and cynical but…yeah, we let them win at least the battle if not the whole shebang.
My hope stems from kids today generally being kinder, open minded and not “tolerant” but actually coexisting with nary a thought. Better people will make a better world if we give them the chance to before fucking up beyond repair.
Right?!?
….also, left?
In the USA. An old helo with questionable access to parts….perhaps lower odds. In bad weather, lower still.
This is the first time since joining Lemmy that I miss awards. This was funny as hell! Thanks for the chuckle.
Difficult. To check your travel bags for ammo.
How low do we set the bar before we blame the individuals?
I’ve never discovered ammunition loose in a bag or pocket. It’s been used or put away safely. Period. Why? Because duh.
Or just freaking empty it and only pack what you need. Its hardly difficult.
Momentum quite literally provided by the GOP, Reagan would be so proud.
Only if inflation is the only metric of concern, but a stalled economy with low inflation and massive unemployment is not a healthy situation. Austerity does not tend to foster economic growth and I worry they’ve decided to focus solely on one of their problems. Hopefully it’s actual improvement.
As asserted by a guy who chose a non-reproductive life of celibacy, hangs out with a bunch of fellas in dresses and bases his opinions on stories preceding the Dark Ages.
So maybe let’s not listen?
Landslide is plenty bad enough…but with a damn cyanide bonus? Horrific. Those poor miners. I hope they manage to find survivors.
Very cool. My paternal grandfather was from there and I’ve never been. Looks like a stunning place.
If that’s what happened I agree. Targeting a marked ambulance which had even notified them is unconscionable.
Being ashamed of righteous empathy is part of the problem. Be better than those that commit evil.
That poor little girl, the family and the heroic paramedics that tried to help. This is horrific and must end.
I can’t fathom the horror. Our species is fucked.
I heard it was one of those emergency exit panels (not a full door, nor just a passenger window) but that could be inaccurate. Either way, not a good look for Boeing.
That cat’s name? Lars Ulrich.
People that repeatedly attack others do not appreciate being attacked. Yes, really.
I thought oil was the problem?
Their point is absolutely valid. Their method is absurd. This doesn’t generate a dialogue, it undermines the point by enabling opponents to rightfully condemn the vandalism and changes no minds.
Attacking art or culture is counterproductive.
