It was a mistake. The mistake was the US not cutting all ties with Israel immediately.

So long Steam. We had a good run, but I guess it is finally time for Phil Spencer to take you out behind the woodshed.
I’m sorry m8. I like pizza rolls from time to time too. I share in your pain and shame. We must revitalize their image!
Wheres all his defenders now?
Screaming the n-word into the voice chat of their Call of Duty lobbies, while eating pizza rolls, and watching Adin Ross on Kick.
It is a little funny to me since you came in hot with the weaselly argumentation, but then immediately devolved into tired generalizations before finally folding like a wet blanket.
I’ve made my point though. You can go ahead and have the last word, which I can only assume you will be following up with some vigorous manual digital self-stimulation. Best of luck with that.
Then you shouldn’t have started one, and that’s on you.
Sorry I exposed the fragility of your rhetoric, and made you reconsider your commitment towards publicly defending it. Oh, wait…no I’m not 😘
Look chief, I could sit here and dismantle your continued attempts at forced generalization of my positions, but that would do neither of us any good.
The minute you hit me with the “you people” routine this conversation was effectively over. If you want to have a conversation with another adult, then you’re going to have to start acting like one.
Good point. Unlike the other two Israel twinks in this conversation you actually did isolate a legitimate bias in my original rhetoric. Therefore, I partially accept your criticism.
However, it is also important to note that we have repeatedly seen the IDF intentionally obfuscationing its atrocities by using the fog of war as part of their psychological warfare campaign. So, I am comfortable saying that there is significant strategic value to them attacking US aid infrastructure…
Sure bud. Whatever helps you feel like you won the conversation.
Where did I say “Jews”? Please point that out for the whole class. Unlike you, I am able to effectively differentiate the political entity of Israel from the socio-religious culture of the global Jewish diaspora.
I am also aware that IDF tactics have repeatedly included the use of covert terrorist attacks that have then been blamed on other groups to justify their own ends. Additionally the Israeli military already set a precedent for this by attacking the United States military in a similar fashion during the Six Days War.
So, no, I do not trust Israel will not use the IDF to destroy infrastructure in order to continue blocking aid from reaching the Gazans who desperately need it.
I’m going to go with the 99.9% more likely scenario of IDF terrorists posing as Hamas in order to attack US infrastructure, sway public sentiment away from Gaza, and further accomplish the goals of the genocide they are currently prosecuting. Fuck Israel.
You must be fucking confused if you think Netanyahu is Joe Biden’s “attack dog”. The Israeli government has spent the last 40+ years successfully coopting the United States government.
What do you think those shifty mother fuckers would be doing in an election year if he came out against them? I agree they need to he brought to heel, but if you think that is going to happen given the existing externalities of global & US politics then you are living in a fantasy.
Please explain how Israel attacking Iran is Joe Biden’s fault? He said the United States would not support a retaliatory strike against Iran’s retaliatory strike. All the blame falls directly on Netanyahu and the Israeli government.
There was so much I never knew about the production of the movie until the guys at Red Letter Media did a Re:View about it. I was kinda bummed that Mike and Jay didn’t like the movie, but it was cool to learn the history, warts and all.
I keep holding out hope that someday it might be remade or perhaps there could be a sequel from a competent team that enjoyed the first movie. I am generally against remake or reboot culture, but Event Horizon just always seemed like a perfect candidate for it to me.
I was going to ask you what school you went to where they were allowed to show that, but then I remembered my private christian middle school took us all to see the Passion of the Christ at the movie theater for a fucking field trip 😂
Event Horizon.
I know it gets a bad rap, but it is a cult classic in my book. The most perfect symmetry of science fiction and body horror since Alien(s). Add on top of that a fantastic cast, a mildly campy vibe, and it somehow manages to hold up well even today in my opinion. Even though it scared the fuck out of me as a kid, I have a weird nostalgia for it now.
Until recently I would have agreed, but currently things seem to be in a state of flux. There has been a lot of unprovoked violence post pandemic, and not a lot of agreement about what to do about it.
the memes were better.
[X] Doubt
I dare one of them to show up to my front door. They are going to be in for a fucked up conversation that will make them second guess their life choices.
Conventional brick and mortar retail is extremely expensive to maintain. It has less to do with Amazon specifically, and more to do with the rise of online retail & direct to consumer business models more generally. Don’t get me wrong, Amazon was a huge pioneer in that area, but it would have happened one way or another.
