Ah I remember this phone. I remember when it finally died and I replaced it with an Android 2 that was R2-D2 themed. It still had a physical keyboard because I very distinctly remembered not wanting to use a touchscreen keyboard for everything.

That’s not physically interacting with people though?
I don’t know the specifics behind it, but even if VPN does work, or accessing TT through a web app instead of an app, that’s still 1-2 hurdles for the average user to jump through for their fix.
Some people will just not bother and then peace out to instagram reels or YT shorts or just drop off that kind of social media.
It fully depends on how many users are “savvy” enough to navigate those hurdles and how badly they want to navigate those hurdles.
In my experience when you’re working with a dedicated user base and you make a significant change, you can expect to lose around half your audience. Barriers to entry are probably going to increase that number, but obviously this is anecdotal evidence for future events.
Fair enough.
I didn’t consider a phone call from a dumb phone as human contact. Guess it goes to show how much I conflate phone with smart phone now.
I mean that’s not interacting with other people on a weeknight is all haha.
I don’t feel bad texting (or replying here late at night) but I wouldn’t go knock on my neighbors’s door past 8 and expect to talk to them or anything like that.
At 10pm on a weekday? I mean I get chatting to your significant other about stuff but outside of that I don’t see anything happening even if we removed phones from the equation.
I was under the impression that the TT creator fund was very minimal anyway. Or at least it was gutted recently and used to be somewhat okay.
I swear I have spent 3 hours cleaning the kitchen today and like 1.5 hours cooking.
The rest of the house isn’t that bad, but I just do not have time for any hobbies before 9pm unless they somehow include my kids, such as camping or swimming.
Don’t have kids haha.
I liked him in Mistborn at least. After that, well. Jury’s out. :::
Totally agree. I think she craves them because breastfeeding puts her at such a calorie deficit.
I prefer water, but my wife really likes Body Armor. Specifically a Tropical/Pineapple flavor.
I’m pretty mad about the iOS “upgrade” too.
Plus you can always come back to it in a few years and it’s nostalgic.
I played the shit out of Anna Molly by Incubus and whenever I listen to it I’m now reminded of the season of life I was living when I over listened to it hah.
Yeah once or twice. Usuallly to buy some cheap knickknacks that are shiny or that I think are cool.
i.e. I bought some Pokémon badges off a Facebook ad years ago.
My wife likes to click on ads she sees on instagram for products for presents and things. Stuff like a sunflower necklace that opens and says “you are my sunshine” on the inside of it.
She seems to actually like targeted ads because she is always looking for presents and things for people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In no particular order:
I realize I included a lot of games that were sequels or part of a series, but these are my favorite of the series in general.
Honorable Mentions:
Halo 3. I had played Halo 1 on PC and Halo 2 with a friend in his Xbox, and the multiplayer stuff with Forge convinced me to pick up Halo 3.
I stuck around for Mass Effect.
Depends on the price imo
