What bands do you recommend that are of the newer style?
I keep my dropouts free ebooks in Dropbox and use moonreader + to read them and sync across devices. Until I lost my library in a hdd failure I had 10k books self hosted with calibre and that was straight forward and worked well. I do also use Google Books for things I buy and like it although it lacks some QoL features of moonreader
I think you’re misunderstanding the word “order.” They mean order like “Dr’s Orders” not like the Dr is generating requests to the drug warehouse.
Yeah that’s my thing exactly. I don’t think most people who start out with swisha house radio end up with rjd2 even though the genres are related. Maybe enough people only listen to songs they know they like to skew suggestions for people looking more for discovery than previously liked?
Yeah play music looked good, it was easy to find full albums by genre, and their suggestion algorithm played stuff I liked but had never heard.
Whenever I say (OK google, play xxx radio) within twenty songs all the playlists end up being The Band or electroswing. Which are things I like but I’m trying to find novel music not stuff I already like
Same same. I’m thinking of trying tidal next when my introductory pricing on Spotify ends. I tried just using other apps for Spotify that uses youtube but my family is addicted to voice control through the smart speakers.
I had never heard of those until now. 5 1/4 disk size with 230 mb sounds pretty sweet
I’m sure this was labor retaliation or something but watching YouTube music eat google music and then steadily get worse. I don’t know. Fuck google and their lack of support. I don’t like Spotify particularly but now I use it because i really hated youtube music’s suggestion algorithm.
I use libby and have three cards. My county library, my city and a city I used to live in. Between those three I almost constantly have new books to read. I’ve read 19 book so far this year. All of them new release literary fiction and 16 of them through libby. With the right card it is really good. I went from dling 10 books a month to 1 a month so far this year.
Pagers also work even in parts of the hospital that cell phones don’t for whatever reason. At least last time I had a hospital pager a few years ago. Now a lot of places use commercial solutions like vocera that also work everywhere and allow two way voice comms.
Not to be too tinfoil hatty but is this a case of counterfeits or tech giants attempting to flood the zone
Electric kettle. Boiling water. Infuser basket in tea pot for 3 - 5 minutes depending on the type of tea. Drink pot and repeat around 1400
I had a text message screening after applying to a job the other day. I used the keywords and got through the ai I guess and then answered text message questions for a while. I’d worked for this company before and last time that first round screening was done by a person over the phone. No real point just my experience being back in the job market after 8 years.
Thanks! This is a great project
Sing me a song of a past that was gone? Seriously odd ringer choice
The only test I’ve given patients was super thick. Is yours thin or are you putting that oil subq?
I just tried to reproduce your comment. Google home set a timer for me and play/paused my TV (chromecast with google tv) I don’t have streaming music to test it on. I do agree that the quality of Google home has gotten terrible though. It takes a lot more prompting to do simple things and has stopped some scheduling tasks as far as I can tell.
I’ve played and given up the mandolin several times over tge past several years. Longest continuous before now was maybe three months. What I’ve learned through my own learning process is:
Post script: The reason I quit when I do is because I become frustrated with plateaus. I now believe a lot of these plateaus came from bad mechanics. My pinky could not reach the 7th fret no matter how much I practiced. I could not switch chords without destroying my rhythm or muting extra strings etc.
