Does Cromite have support for auto-filling from 3rd party password managers? When I last used Bromite, it couldn’t so I never ended up using it as my main browser

I’ve seen some youtubers recommend OnShape. It’s a browser based CAD app so it should work fine.

I know you didn’t ask but just in case you (or anyone reading this) don’t know about it; Good Lock from the Samsung store. Once downloaded, you can create a routine in the settings app to reconfigure the bixby/power button to do whatever you want

This just in, Google will he deprecating their phone app fart button in 18 months for the new and improved Android Poots button.

Wait, we’re just now getting word that in 7 more months, Android Poots will be replaced with Google Toots. All 3 buttons will be active at the same time while Google works on feature parity.

You’ll never believe this, insiders are telling us that 4 months after Google Toots, Google will be introducing Google Farts to replace Google Toots. Google Farts will be different than the original Fart button, not sure how but we are expecting it’ll be a worse experience.

And finally, 6 months later, after hundreds of millions of dollars spent, somehow none on marketing, and after generating a healthy user base that defied all odds, Google will begin to shutdown all 4 buttons and lay off all the teams that worked on them.

I always forget. Can we do a release upgrade to this or do we have to wait until 24.04.1?

What’s your use case? The majority of people will be fine without it so I was just curious if you were doing something interesting with it

I upgraded to the Pi4 but I use this case. It has a daughter board that lets me use an m.2 SATA SSD over USB. But any USB to SATA adapter should work fine

I’d bet $1 it’s the SD card. My 3B+ used to have the same problem. Been running pis off some sort of SSD ever since, no issues.

Microsoft is also working on the next Surface Laptop Studio…, which targets a similar late 2025 release window.

He posts infrequently but Sean Hodgins videos keep getting better. Don’t let the thumbnails fool you, he puts a ton of work into them. It’s hard to describe, it’s mostly him showing off his projects but they have an analogue/80s cyberpunk feel in the way he tells his story, the music that’s played, and how he edits the videos together.

I assume you have an old iPhone tied to your iCloud account. What happens if you untie that phone and wait like a day (some iCloud stuff is weird and can take about 24 hours to update server side info)

If the narrow screen bugs you, it’s worth considering the Pixel Fold IMO

I had the Pixel 7 Pro and when it was cool outside, it was great. It ran warm though and I’m outside a lot so when it got to summer, it became frustrating to use. Just getting the camera to open took twice as long and navigating the UI would be inconsistently choppy. I’m probably going to wait until the Tensor G4 or G5 (the later being rumored to use TSMC’s foundry) before seriously considering a pixel again.

Ignoramuses who believe Android is technologically falling behind

Not sure if that was a general statement of directed at me so I guess I’ll say that I don’t believe Android is falling behind, I just think that if the overwhelming majority of Americans are using iPhones, it will be detrimental to the experience of using an Android phone in America as the years go on. Recent articles have said it’s something like a 50/50 split of between iPhone and android users who are adults but closer to 87/13 for teens. That’s concerning because they are getting locked in and unless Apple makes a major misstep, they’ll likely get iPhone’s for their kids when the time comes. It’s looking like a slow burn

How do you like your fold 5? I was considering getting one but I’m kind of turned off due to the narrow cover screen; holding out for the fold 6. I haven’t used a Samsung phone since touchwiz and have been switching between Pixel’s and iPhones ever since. How is OneUI after a year or so of use, any slowdown or have they pretty much fixed that?
