This is the reason my house has:
Oh THAT’S how you do it? That was one feature of Chrome that I couldn’t figure out how to do with Firefox. Thanks!
Not everyone is interacting with ML on a frequent basis. If it’s your first foray and you’re running into issues, these would be good tips to try if you’ve never experienced it before.
If you don’t mind “dumbing down,” the bulbs with an infrared or RF remote don’t require any apps. I prefer those for that reason
I was pretty tolerant of YouTube ads up until a year ago, when they started playing unskippable food ads which I morally disagree with. No amount of “not relevant” made them go away so I’m hardcore ad-free now. I even tried YouTube premium until they decided to jack up the price on my second month of having it, so fuck em
I read this as “YouTube will push even harder for non-skippable ads, and content creators can’t stop them anymore”
Every platform is different. The maintenance manual won’t tell you as it’s not part of maintenance. If you really want a piece of literature then you’ll need a factory service manual, but no offense if you don’t know what you’re doing you WILL cause damage to your vehicle (or even yourself if you accidentally mess with the airbags)
Cars are built in modules, so there is definitely something you could disconnect to prevent it phoning home. You might need to take the dashboard apart though.
There is nothing preventing the car from starting and running without it. As long as you have a key fob it will attempt to start.
Hell you can probably just save it as a JPG in MS Paint a few times
I think it’s worse here on Lemmy tbh
Edit: wait fuck did I just do it by accident?
I use a headphone jack daily, it is a must for me. Not going to do a stupid Bluetooth adapter or dongle cable that can get lost or damaged
I’ve run into an issue once in the advanced power options in Windows. Under “processor power management” check to see what the minimum and maximum processor states are.
(note: don’t set the maximum to a low number, it makes the computer unusable. Found out the hard way lol)
Yep, hence the “moe moe” album and the anime voice in Blush
Samsung phones aren’t very custom-ROM friendly
Boy how the times change. Back in my day, Samsung devices had their own dedicated community. RIP SDX-developers
Why send it to the cloud when Excel is running on a perfectly capable hunk of silicon? That’s doesn’t make a lick of sense to me
I’ve had my 4a 5g for 2 years now and have no issues with it. Uninstalled some of the G stuff I don’t need, and with Greenify it lasts two full days with moderate usage. Would probably be even better with a custom ROM, but I go the other way and keep it stock android 11 with updates turned off. Rock stable with no frustrating unexpected changes, I went like 180 days without needing a reboot
Has a headphone jack and a decent camera, which are must-haves for me. I’m probably going to be keeping it for another 2-4 years like I did my last phone (LG G5) until it starts falling apart or becoming unreliable
Guess the UK better get used to seeing “We’re sorry, [AppName] is no longer available on your country.”
That poor squirrel didn’t stand a chance
The whole reason RaPi got so big was its price point, because it offered so much capability that was essentially disposable in case the worst happened to your project. As long as it costs more than $35 I will not be interested.
