The latest (proprietary) NVIDIA driver is nvidia-580. I am not familiar with CachyOS, but it may be defaulting to the FOSS NVIDIA driver, Nouveau, which I personally have had stability issues with.
You can check the driver with the command lshw -c video or nvidia-smi
Another thing you can do is activate logging of Proton with the the launch option PROTON_LOG=1 %command% in Steam. This will dump a file into your home folder.
The first place to start is journalctl (or /var/log/messages)

I have Reolinks that I just set up. The floodlight camera needed the app to set it up WiFi, BUT I didn’t need an account. I can access my cameras using their app over wireguard. Its nice.
