This is not a solution but a symptom of homelessness.

This is not a solution but a symptom of homelessness.

Y’know what, fair point.

Conservative is synonymous with corruption, these days.

Not just that, but also holding social media owners accountable for hosting fascist content, and arresting them, no matter how rich they are.

Privacy settings, for one. I eventually did manage though, the app’s now fully gone.

I long for the day that he dies.

Politicians and cops are THOSE who do this.
Fuck politicians on the right. ACAB, ACAB!

Every single person that voted in favour must be held on corruption charges. No running free.

Swisscows is conservative shit imo, go with Kagi instead. They even block normal porn.

Ugh, LLMs… I’ve grown allergic to that term.

Pretty interesting concept though. But interesting, the fatality rate is high? Where can I read more on this?

The solution then is to remove that loophole, by keeping the pollution laws applied there. And those who actually used such vehicles for work? Yeah, sucks, but they should complain at those car manufacturers.
Or alternatively, we classify them as trucks instead of as cars.

You can have an income- and wealth-dependent fine.
It could be as a % of your total income (bonus included) + wealth (including stocks, full ownership chain included).
1.5% of income, 5% of wealth in bank account, 10% of stock value. If any of these three exceeds 300x the median of the lowest 10%'s salary (let’s say that that’s 10k), then it’s 80% for all three. That would hit the ultra-wealthy more and so it’d be fairer.
For a poor person earning less than €10,000 a year and having €1,000 in bank and no stocks, that’d be €200.
For someone earning €40,000 a year, having €80,000 in bank and €10,000 in stocks, that’d be €5,600.
For a billionnaire who has 1 billion, let’s say €2,000,000 per year as “income”, €100,000,000 in “bank account”, and the rest of 1 billion in stocks. Then they’d be paying € 801.6 million.

Certain weight and size, would be good, imho.
Have a bit looser restrictions for road freight lorries and vans, but only regarding the back if they’re fully covered (instead of open), and owned by actual transport companies, with logs of what they transported, and actually used for that purpose at least 40 x a year.

At least Porsches look beautiful and aren’t as tall. I’d say it’s a better spending of money than those compensation cars.

I’d rather block fascists. That’s the real hard sell, tbh, and fortunately Lemmy does not really have them so far.

Far right movements, if anything, want to kill furries. Press X to doubt.

Sure, people can like what they want. Though I don’t think we should encourage inaction against the far right. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a few, but indeed very few. Personally I feel divided on tankies, but in my perspective, the greater foe is the fascist. That said: AAAB (All Authoritarians Are Bastards), and if we can combat both effectively, then great!
But also, to put it as a metaphor. If I had to pick my battles – and had three bullets, and there were a fascist and a tankie in the room with me, I’d shoot the fascist immediately, and keep two to safeguard against tankies - so that if I shot, I still have a credible threat afterward.
A tankie is an ally against a fascist, and can turn into a fiend - so let us make sure that they have to stay our friend. And while they are our friend, then let us treat them with at least kindness. They don’t need to like us and we don’t need to like them; but we need to band together against the storm.

Why don’t we discourage using X for all European citizens?
For the far-right users that still frequent it, we can just set up an alternative closed corner that is more moderate, populated by bots, and then have them go there, then cut off X altogether.
Then the algorithms will make them go more moderate.
And also,
Needs more zeros. Make it a €100 billion fine. If Twitter can’t pay it, then Musk must pay it from his own personal wealth. Corruption poisons society, and society needs to purge corruption!
If you can afford to, the company and tell others to follow suit.
Or organise a protest with all colleagues, collectively threaten to go (and find your own company that doesn’t rely on AI).
