There are vast differences between Windows home and Windows pro and Windows Enterprise editions as far as how easy it is to control and block off the annoyance ware that Microsoft builds into it.

If you use deployment software to roll out your images after standardizing them and have a set image that you can deploy to a thousand computers as easily as one then it’s very simple to sign in with a local domain account and disable the windows things through a group policy and just start rocking and rolling whereas your average Windows home user is not going to even have access to GPO and we’ll have to tediously for each and every single computer every single time they reset it redo all of the things to disable all of Microsoft’s crap activation.

They are not entirely different but definitely distinct versions of Windows and dismissing the home and non-enterprise users that their experience is inferior to your experience on the Enterprise side is what I’m saying is disingenuous

It’s kind of disingenuous of you to proudly say, “I don’t use the same version of Windows that this person likely does and I don’t have the same issues that this person does so they must be full of shit”.

And the other one is either use a third party registry cleaner or run this esoteric powershell command as admin.

And if it doesn’t work, just reinstall your entire computer. Fuck your entire day.

Is that a bad thing though?

Technically , a server isn’t a PC.

PC means “Personal Computer” and servers are not personal computers they are group computers.

I had nearly 4 Bitcoin in early 2017, when they were worth about $1,600 a piece.

And I sold them all approximately 3 months before they became worth $10,000 a piece and approximately 8 months before they became worth $40,000 a piece.

And I’m not sad about it, I made profit off of them, but it does make me a little bit morose and that I could have had 160,000 instead of $6,000 by simply waiting about 8 more months.

This is further evidence that all safety rules have been written in blood.

Any conspiracy that you hear about more than two or three times is actually a part of a deeper conspiracy to create so much conspiracy chaff that finding the truth becomes impossible.

The actual deep state Illuminati whatever thing that’s behind it all running everything are really just a bunch of powerful old rich people who have capped out on money bringing them any joy in life and the only thing they have left that brings them any excitement is keeping people down.

We have enough financial resources that every person on the planet could work 20 hours a week and have a house and have time to spend with their community and accomplish things that are meaningful to them, but in order for those resources to be distributed fairly we would have to identify the people that are hoarding it and divest them of their horde.

I really wish it would, but the people that are the decision makers at businesses simply do not care what Microsoft does as long as it doesn’t impact their bottom line. Yes it’s incredibly user hostile. Yes it’s an administrative nightmare for the IT people, but for the suits that write the checks? It’s just the cost of doing business and they literally could not give a fuck if you paid them.

Snark aside, how unlikely is my prediction?

Well like if everyone was suddenly set to have 10 million US dollars in their bank accounts and all debts canceled, there would be an immediate inflation as most people would quit their jobs immediately and getting services provided would become practically impossible to anyone that doesn’t do them themselves, not to mention the fact that goods would also become absurdly expensive as no one would bother with the task of selling goods when they already have so much money on hand.

However, due to the sudden lack of goods and services this would destabilize the entire country, and there would be riots in the streets.

After all of that hubbub was dealt with, things would generally return to exactly the same as they are right now as the extra money flows into the hands of those who have the most goods and services to offer and the machines with which to create more goods, and eventually those who do not have the institutional advantages would return to being poor due to their lack of having institutional advantages.

And when a certain billionaire realizes he’s lost way too much money and wants to offload this website he purchased for way too much you could just write a check.

Or you can like pay off all the student loan debt because you just happen to have 1.3 trillion dollars in your wallet.

Having been in this exact same cycle twice myself, all I can say is that IT jobs are boring.

When you add on terrible software crossovers that amp up the stress without any extra income to justify it then that’s when everyone I know starts looking for their next gig.
