Is it fast on a raspberry pi?
Is it fast on a raspberry pi?
Look into the past , what a huge server does now a small SBC can do now . In 10 years what chatgot runs in cloud could potentially be running in a smartphone
As much as I hate apple and google, I want a future where all these can be done locally without massive servers and sending all data to cloud . Apple clearly have a edge over google in that regards.

Yep , we will let your hardware do the work , we will just collect the final profile data that’s valuable to us.
Enshitification
It did took me a week ,but I’m running one for 4years on a raspberry pi 4, it works good enough to share files and sync contacts and calendar.

I seriously hope China makes RISK-V a viable option . I’m fed up with slow adoption of arm by so many vendors . ARM Linux laptops are going to be great, but no ones making them . atleast if RISKV becomes a thing , we can move away from x86 , maybe innovation and healthy competition can return to Intel AMD duopoly
This one works , I myself have done it cause my shitty isp needs a huge payment for a static public ip. A 5$ VPS was much cheaper . Server behind NAT I can help if you got any doubts

Had the same problem, I found the problem with my ISP , you can do speed test to different servers in speedtest.net . I observes a huge decrease in speed to many servers. This is mostly cause my ISP had bad peering to most servers. Only nearby servers gave full 200Mbps speed. Even some within same country agave <50. The single connection speeds would mist likely be less cause of your ISP’s bad peering. This doesn’t mean you won’t ever get the full speed . when multiple connections are made from different places they would be using the full 1gig speed.
Explain please , I can’t figure out how to use ublock origin in iPad
But in iOS , addons (ublock origin) are not available at least outside EU, so brave is the better choice as it got brave shield . everywhere else I use Firefox.
Yes I myself would check if it works with home assistant before purchase , but also there should be some guaranteed period for majority users who want features but not bother with self hosting.
There should be some mandatory support period for newer IoT products
Well I should have read the first comment before I went ahead with update and reboot😪
