Did a non-teacher, government official scold you directly? No? Ok, not the same thing then.

New humans cost money, and might not obey their corporate overlords.
This is a good recommendation. I went into the movie thinking it would be silent. Was kind of disappointed that it wasn’t, tbh.
PeopleMakeGames has a two part series on Valve that’s pretty interesting. The second part (here) dives into the structure of the company. It does have a bit of an angle, fwiw, so if you’d prefer something more objective, it might not be a great watch. Personally I think the issues they bring up are valid, but figured I’d mention it.
Gonna find out real quick that Apple is more important to people than Twitter.
Yikes. I’ve never read Asterix and Obelix, but did they really make (I assume) the only black character a straight up knuckle-dragging gorilla imitation? 😬
More like “And I hope you learned not to trust the wellbeing and education of the children entrusted to you to a program that’s not capable of doing either.”
If Twitch’s little experiment is anything to go by, it already is.
I dunno. I just don’t see it as a big problem, I guess. Just because it has some useless stuff attached doesn’t mean it’s a scam or something, as long as the artbook and music is accessible and are considered worth the price.
Also, looking at the pack, the “dlc” is 4 whole cosmetics. If it’s considered a scam without those, then it should be considered a scam with them.
I mean…is it? I don’t really get what to be upset about here. If it were really DLC sans game, then yeah, that’d be ridiculous, but if people want to buy these things, why not? And $10 for both seems like a decent price, tbh.
On the one hand, games have stayed the same price for a long time, well below the rate of inflation.
On the other, wages have also stayed well below inflation for a long time. I don’t expect they’ll see the growth they want when a game purchase takes a larger and larger bite out of someone’s paycheck.
Oh no! Wait, I don’t use that shit because of shit like this.
FFs took a huge paycheck of blood money that they could’ve easily turned down. They’re in it too.
Don’t blame him because he’s just “making money”? Might as well not blame the execs with that logic. They’re also just making money, right?
People don’t (or shouldn’t) vote only when they know they’ll get what they want. That’s a good way to never get anything done. The only way to achieve anything is by acting with conviction and encouraging/hoping others do the same.
Unless I’m misunderstanding it myself, fixed term means they had a set period of time that’s not up for renewal. Ergo, when the term runs out, that’s it. There’s no chance of delinquency because there’s no additional payments.
“Fixed Term” does not mean “delinquent”. It just means there’s a hard cut off. All I know is the snippet you posted, though, so maybe there’s more to the situation.
This has nothing to do with anything you’re talking about.
