if the creators are abandoned accounts tho, that is an issue. however, making an empty mag expire makes 0 sense, recreating it doesn’t guarantee it will have content if no one posts, same as the first time

i just took a look at what it takes to write a wiki article, and it is extensive (rightfully so). anyone who plans on trying this, please be prepared to have sources prepared, be unbiased, be a good writer, and more.

at this point, i have no idea what happened, but am open to hearing the full story. i’d like to assume there isn’t a justifiable reason for it, but we honestly shouldn’t assume anything till we see both sides. like someone else said, OP has also downvoted all their comments/posts, it could have been in response to it, or maybe not. we need the full story here

honestly, someone like that has already shown they would not make a good moderator, they mass banned over something so petty and small, i don’t think it would be unreasonable to revoke their ability to make mags for some time (or indefinitely) and give his mags to someone else who is more mature. he already swiped up some big name mags, do we really want someone like that running popular magazines? no.

edit. honestly fuck it, this deserves to be called out. @Deliverator, this is unacceptable and very childish behavior. you should not be running magazines. reconsider your behavior and grow up, please.

i am inclined to say they are all designed for their own profit or benefit, and they simply do not give a single shit if it kills people or of the consequences. they just want to make more money and falsely feel more moral (eg. abortion)

I think we should be a bit more descriptive. Something like sexual content & graphic content, because not all non sexual should be called NSFL, that’s for gore and death and stuff usually

yes this happens, but it resolves itself over time, and the posts will show up within a few hours or days. this happened to me on a few of my mags i federated between kbin/lemmy, eventually all the posts showed up 👍🏼

it’s quiet, pretty much just me posting and a handful of people upvoting, never really any comments. i hope this changes soon. people need to interact more. i don’t mind being the only content generator for now, but it’s pretty lonely

if you have # fox news anywhere in your mag info, remove it and the microblogs/posts will stop. if you add it in the bio, it will federate those posts

the thing is, a lot of people wont answer or comment in the first place. maybe they think someone else will, but then that ends up not being the case
