New technology brings new risks. Sell stuff via the internet? Are you crazy?

I assume they simply expect that the risks can be addressed.l. and generally I tend to agree with them. We somehow managed the fact that Google search results are not 100% accurate or Wikipedia articles can be hijacked.

I have a different impression about new AI features backporting plans, but we will see. My point is that ai targeting HW can potentially drive the next smartphones evolution, which is slowed down currently.

The same things people say about every new technology: computers, internet, smartphones etc. I use my smartphone very differently compared to 10 years ago. And apps which existed 10 years ago are very different now and require different HW. CPU progress is slowing, but AI focused hw could be the next wave.

It looks like hardware improvement is shifting to AI capabilities. If so, in 7 years pixel 8 will be hardly interesting for anyone from the target audience.

This depends on how you define “support”. Reddit plans IPO, having more active users helps with this. If you post there or answer other people you contribute to Reddit value as well.

There are good opensource models one can use and, if needed, fine-tune. Not every task needs chatGPT power. One can also build applications using openai models (directly by openai or by ms azure).

Google has AI models as a service as well.

It is important to understand that an application on top of openai model is not nessesarly a just chatgpt wrapper.

I add a lobby and a password, so random person cannot join - fine.
But still, I invite people and give this password. So, the first who come to to meeting (5 mins before start, 1 hour before start 1 day before start) automatically becomes admin of it. This is probably ok for a 3 friends meeting, but hardly usable for school parents or a hobby club meetings.

Very easy start and algorithmic feed, I think.

Still unclear:

• how good the sensors are
• how good the core software is - can measure HR is one thing, notify you if your HR pattern is changed is another thing.
• what is an update policy
• other feature - e.g. I have seen that one can schedule AOD - this is good

should work, however, afaik, there is no great audiobook players for wearos as of now. BTW, you can do the same with pixel watch and samsung galaxy watch - they have enough storage for at least 1-2 audiobooks. Mine GW has 5.4 GB free right now.

cool, then you probably can clarify me how it assumed to be used to organize a meeting. What I see now, looks the following way

1. I create a meeting with unique name, join it and immediately leave it. Now this meeting will exist forever (I cannot delete it)
2. I send link to the meeting to people who should participate with start date/time
3. Anyone from invited people can login to the meeting using their gmail/fb credentials before me and takeover meeting admin role.

Moreover, if on step 1 I enter already existing meeting name, there will be no error message I simply try to jump-in in existing meeting (without knowing this).

Does it really work like that?

Do you know if I can schedule a meeting for a specific date in jitsi (I cannot find any mention of this)?

A free account has a 1 hour limit for group video calls.

I’m an android/windows user myself. Can one schedule a facetime call? Is web experience as good as ms teams/zoom offers?

The gap between free and paid accounts becomes bigger and bigger.

At least for free accounts you either have history chat and allow use of your data for training or reject both. Probably same with this new type of data.

I swear it’s not me, it’s my smartphone. We will have a serious conversation with it about this!
