  • New job lined up Ready to go. Hours will probably be worse, on-call with suck, flexibility of hours will probably be worse.

But I should learn a lot more and improve my skills, currently, I’m stagnant and not doing anything useful. Looking forward to a change, even if I am nervous

  • I find the interface feels more modern and interactive, I didn’t like how static PiHole felt with adding to a list then manually restarting Gravity.

AGH has support for more list types, it has more features built-in, such as DNS over TLS so I can use it on my phone even when I’m not home.

And personally I feel like its less buggy, I’ve never encountered a problem on AGH, whereas I did on PiHole.

  • Weightlifting can require insanely heavy weights, they take up a lot of storage and cost a lot of money. Gyms also offer the benefits of having specialised machines that focus on specific muscles. I used to go to a commercial gym then built a home gym, I’ve spent over £2,000 and I’m still not close to finished.

Sure you can do bodyweight stuff, or limited exercises with adjustable dumbbells and resistance bands, but you won’t get nearly as strong as a good gym, training plan, and diet.

childless men miss sense of community

Myself and everyone I know works remote. We’re all childless/childfree and not a single one of us miss any community, we all feel there are zero downsides to it. This just comes across like propaganda to stop people working remote and return to office.
