The fact that the ccc uses matrix as their official chat “app” doesn’t imply that it is inherently insecure I would say.

I would say there was some improvement In the last third of season. He wasn’t crashing anymore and was consistent in the time difference (more or less) to albon as well.
On top of that, we just don’t see the data the team is seeing when it comes to an improvement.
One other thing to keep in mind. There is a supposedly very talented new driver starting in F2 next year that could drive for Williams in 2025, so that could play into the decision as well. Although I just looked for it and couldn’t find it. I think Alex Jaques talked abiut it in the last F2 sessions.
One thing that I miss about reddit are the top votes comments on science articles. They would often provide a good explanation of the article from someone familiar with the matter.
I guess it takes a little bit of time, just came to my mind.
Interesting article nonetheless, thanks for posting.

Been using it for a year now, really happy with it.
Yup, that’s it, at least from my understanding.
He was behind him, yes, but you’re allowed to overtake within the pit exit line, which is what he did. Move was legal.
So, one question. Every time I’m looking at the parts list for a MOC, the price is even higher than Lego. I just looked at a F1 Ferrari mic with roughly 3000 parts and the price was an estimated 930 bucks.
Any best practices or advice?
Yes and no. If your isp is still providing unencrypted DNS for you, then they can still see the domain name you’re visiting.
Look into vlan.
Basically allows you to have different subnets rubbing on a physical network card.
It is possible what you want to do and not that complicated.
And I hope you step on a piece of Lego every night. Now I have nightmares again, thank you very much…
Well, for me it is the same with road traffic. Even if you’re not at fault, if there is a chance the incident could’ve been avoided by driving “defensively”, then you should try that.
But in the end it is just semantics and I guess we agree. Main culprit is sargeant here, but he is from a dangerous driver. I mean, look at what nervousness does to Perez, so it is no wonder that Sargeant doen’t feel all that confident currently.
Enjoy the rest of the season dude!
That seems fairly obvious and hard to miss.
I have to say I’m really impressed with James Vowles. The way he leads the team by example and shields them from unfair or unjust criticism is just refreshing to see. Williams seem to have a long term plan and want to stick with it, which seems very reasonable to me in this kind of environment. You won’t make any significant progress by changing direction every couple of months.
I also appreciate the context they provide which is especially important in such a competitive sport. I really hope Sargeant can continue to improve, he seems like a good kid and I wouldn’t want to change seats with him. You could feel the pressure when he tried to force a correction in suzuka qualifying by just using brute force in the last corner. you could feel the desperation and it was horrible.
Oh, and one other issue. I think the incident in the race with bottas was at least 50/50 between the two. If you watch the replay, sargeant already locks up his front right before valteri is even alongside him and it only got worse after that. Once he unloaded the front left and locked up, there was no stopping the car before the apex. valteri never had a chance making it on the outside. Sure, sargeant locked up, but valteri can’t say he was surprised by this since the lock up already started before he overtook him.
Never said Lawson should replace perez…
Well, sending him out again made sense from a team perspective. But it is not really sportsmanship like behavior, that is for sure.
Reminded me of the team orders in 2021 DTM finale. Sure you can order the first three drivers to slow down because that is the only way to win the championship, but nobody’s going to respect you for it.
Perez is really on a roll here, what a shit show the last two races. Marko was surprisingly tame about the race, not sure I trust that.
I don’t see him or Sargeant in a F1 car in 2024, at least they shouldn’t be with the amount of talent that is available coughLawsoncough
Forgot to upload the second decision
LONDON, Sept 19 (Reuters) - Volvo Cars (VOLCARb.ST) said on Tuesday that it will end production of any remaining diesel models by early 2024 as it heads towards becoming an all-electric carmaker.
“In a few months from now, the last diesel-powered Volvo car will have been built, making Volvo Cars one of the first legacy car makers to take this step,” the Swedish company said in a statement.
Majority owned by China’s Geely (0175.HK), Volvo has committed to going fully electric by 2030.
While a majority of the cars Volvo sold in Europe were diesel as recently as 2019, in 2022 they made up just 8.9% of the Swedish carmaker’s sales.
In August 33% of Volvo’s sales were fully-electric or hybrid models. The company did not break out how many of the remaining 67% combustion-engine models were diesel and how many ran on petrol.
Sales of diesel models have declined rapidly in Europe since Volkswagen’s (VOWG_p.DE) emission-cheating scandal and carmakers have been gradually reducing the number of diesel models available in their model lineups.
Diesel vehicles comprised more than 50% of Europe’s new car sales in 2015, but accounted for just over 14% of sales in July
I have a feeling that he is going to step down in the near future. I think he doesn’t sound like he’s enjoying racing F1 anymore, but we’ll see.
Yeah, I just saw chrome in the url and overlooked the Firefox part in the actual sentence :D
Reolink has always been a good choice. Very good hardware for the price and they support onvif on most devices, which you can then use however you like.
