Anecdotal but all of the Catholics I know have either converted to the episcopal church or they just never go to mass or talk about it but say they’re catholic so grandma doesn’t get sad. You go to mass, and there are no young people whatsoever. I don’t have hard data to back this up but it seems like the Catholic Church in the US could just collapse before a significant schism reaches us.
I did eventually quit permanently and I did have more money to buy cool shit
I quit smoking and saved the money every day until I had enough to buy a TV. Would have been a good way to incentivize myself to quit smoking and not crazy but I started smoking again immediately after buying the TV.
Yeah, it’s only the original M1
They still behave like a monopoly. Microsoft owning everything is bad for tech even if they can throw money at it and make it “better.” I moved to codeberg.org and it’s been decent.
Linux wsl has really come a long way
One is just running a command and exiting. They seem to be using a separate container for sync storage and token storage. Not sure what those are but is likely set up this way for scaling. This could probably be pretty easily worked in to one container with a start up script that runs that SQL command. The overhead of running multiple Mariadb containers isn’t that much though so it probably doesn’t matter much.
Yeah, still made in the same factory in Ohio.
Nonsense. I drive my Whirlpool Kitchenaid hard and I’ve never had an issue. But they are still easy to repair. And still made in Ohio. Besides some tweaks, there’s not that much difference.
The battery isn’t too difficult to replace
Are you within 15 years of the end of your life?
It’s a great idea and I’m very interested but this article is just an ad. There’s very little substance.
Or at the very least let us convert our disc licenses to digital.
The developer of paint.net sells it on the Microsoft store to support the product. Not any different than buying an app through the App Store or Google play store.
It’s created by a Microsoft Engineer, not super surprising they leverage Microsoft tools to get paid.
I upgraded from 11 to 14 pro and was pretty underwhelmed. It was kinda worth it for the camera but besides that, it’s the exact same phone.
I would have 100% done this in my 20s when I was borderline homeless and dumpster diving to live. But now I’m older and a million dollars is less life changing than it would have been then. Sure more financial comfort would be nice but my basic needs are taken care of. Plus my body is in way worse shape now. I’m old and lame now and less likely to do ridiculous shit for the experience. I don’t think I would do it.
3 to 6 months if such a bitter sweet age. On the one hand, it’s when they start turning in to little people and their personality starts emerging. But it’s also where it starts to get really hard. I’m not sure if it gets easier or you get better at dealing with it, but it gets better.
We’re at 18 months and it’s a really fun and exciting age but I miss the little goofy baby. The last few months before they become mobile and tear your house to shreds are precious.
Dude do it. I dealt with chronic pain for way too long and just accepted it as hopeless. I had tried stretches and exercises on my own with no luck so I wrote physical therapy off as pointless.
Eventually I gave in and 6 weeks in to physical therapy my pain is like 80% gone. I started noticing improvements after a week.
