  • This isn’t talked about enough. Apple at least for now support more older models than most if not all androids. The key is not to buy into the marketing. Phones today are good enough and mature enough to not need to be at the bleeding edge every other year. Just get a new case, new wallpaper and swap the battery before deciding a new phone.

Honestly if you care about camera improvements, get a second hand semi decent mirrorless or point and shoot camera. Way more fun. And easy replaceable battery and storage.

  • Honestly like no amount of money will change the results if your dating profile is shit.

If you’re a whale willing to spend 500 on tinder, spend it on marketing yourself. New photos, personal trainer, hobbies and seriously important - new clothes that fit you.

Lot of single people I meet always say “I don’t want to change who I am”. Changing the way you look and feel isn’t changing who you are. Unless you’re actually as shallow as your outfit. It’s not lame to see what the trends are and even ask a salesperson of the opposite sex for advice. Putting yourself out there is all aspects of such.

Present your best self. Because that’s all a person swiping can judge you on. That 5 seconds.

  • With Apple it’s all or nothing. When you’re in the ecosystem everything works and works well. When it’s one device that needs to be its own ecosystem. That’s just the way they’re designed. Some aren’t happy about it. Some are. There was clearly a market gap for users wanting this kind of simplicity.

A home solution for file transfers between Apple and non Apple for me is a local nas.

  • I’m thinking about the movie going decision and why “scary” movies make money regardless of quality. They might not be good movies. But advertised scary movie means “hey let’s all go see it” to experience the scares together for fun. Whereas this decision to see something they don’t know for the thrill wouldn’t happen as much or at all with other genres.

On your comment I also do think some filmmakers might miss the point on what makes good scary like what you talked about.

  • I ended up with a net positive with this game. There’s elements of the story, characters, gameplay and world I love. But certain aspects had execution and pacing problems. Someone mentioned if the story was a novel this would be an amazing read and I absolutely feel it

All the ingredients are there. It was limited by the execution of the game. I personally feel it would’ve been better as an old school pixel rpg.

That all being said. Loved the talent performance, emotional journey, ending etc.
