Clothing!
Lots of clothes only last a couple of years then they break apart, holes appears, etc…
We have a local collective that fixes clothes and its helped keep them alive for 10+ years now. But jeens, shirts, ect that are newer seem to be worse somehow. They don’t last nearly as long.

I got mine from a Canadian reseller, shipped to the us that doesn’t have the Sim + I own. If I would have went with the official insurance way, it would have cost 2x ish AND the machine itself can magically last for 10 years since it’s a Canadian model…and all the parts are the same.
GL! Hope you have a great time.

Nice! Its my daily driver. Super easy to use it. And you can add Docker on top if need be and use the redirect app to make it easy.
Can’t wait for the piefed install implementation :)

I have a SNES/NES combo. Playing through super Mario world and marble madness. Its been fun.

Excellent!

Usually git or development.
Thankfully that is still working. But you never know.
You have my empathy friend.
My knees.

Phones as well. Each increase in the nand/chips makes phones and ANY consumer electronics that use it much more expensive.
It doesnt help when most devices that we buy are not designed to be repaired.

Yeah forms and very basic HTML its good. Anything complex and you have to take over. Great at saving time, like an intern. But a bit worse in that the intern will typically get better and the ai hasn’t really.

Im not familiar with punnycode. Interesting.

Does the url not resolve on certain browsers or something? I usually just copy/paste or use a firefox plugin to generate posts for lemmy/piefed/fediverse.

I personally love yacy.

No joke I wonder how many of us nerds are on linux/lemmy.

Any good links? I would love another subscription!

WebToEpub - convert Web Novels (and other web pages) into an EPUB for offline reading. Works with many sites, including: 1. ArchiveOfOurOwn.org 2. FanFiction.net. 3. royalroadl.com
etc…
Works well, although I would recommend supporting the official release or giving the authors some sort of $$. Its helped archive a couple of old comics, stories, and fan fictions of terrible quality ;).
Yeah every couple of years, you just unscrew and clean. Its pretty easy.
