As a programmer/dad, I would think the cross section would be pretty high.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•The "cargo van" that's actually a cargo bike (that's actually an electric cargo tuk-tuk)English
4·9 days agoThe deciding factor on whether something needs a license is usually speed. If this goes slow enough, it would be fine without a license, IMO
I think it’s pretty obvious from context he is not talking about Child Porn.

Man, I just had the dubious pleasure of helping my dad migrate from an iPhone 8 to 12 over the phone. It was a several hour/day affair. He had a different account for iCloud and the app store, and had gotten his account locked on the second. Also, he was going from 256gb to 128gb, so we had to move some stuff to iCloud. Add to that the fact I’m an android user.
We ended up putting my mom’s phone with the camera facing his screen during video calls.
I think his least favorite change was going from touchid to faceid. The screen is a lot bigger, though.
Id being one billion doesn’t mean it’s the billionth repo.

Yeah, color and text say save, icon says delete. So it’s a 2 to 1 chance it’s going to save. Good odds!
The company I used to work at paid for me to get two certifications on Dynamics. Once I left there and got another job, I didn’t put th3 certifications on my CV so I wouldn’t be called to work with this.

13·6 months agoIn Brazil, it’s pretty common for the employer to pay your transit fare to/from work. Often you can receive the same value directly instead if you choose to use another form of transportation.

I don’t agree. To me it is like trying to make water cleaner but mixing it with contaminated water.
