moonlight@fedia.ioto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How much of a deal breaker would be a high body count for you?5·3 months agoI have had zero partners, and I think I’d feel really insecure with someone more experienced. Depending on the person it might not be a dealbreaker, as long as it’s not more than maybe 2 or 3. Although I know that is a very small percentage of people my age :(
≤1.5⁰ C total warming.
No reason to carry knives in public
Knives are so useful, I think carrying a multitool with multiple decently sized blades is very reasonable.
moonlight@fedia.ioto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are your favorites? How do you like them?2·4 months agoI love pickles, Kalamata olives, kimchi, and artichoke hearts. I’d say I like everything else, although I’ve had some bad green olives and am not crazy about capers.

Not in a relationship, but hypothetically yes, absolutely. I’d try go exert as much power as I could to make sure their rule is benevolent and try to convince them to create strong institutions that would become democratic after our deaths.
Now if my dictator gf started committing atrocities, I’d leave ASAP if I could do so safely. But I don’t think I would ever be dating the sort of person who would use that sort of power for evil.
I think even music leans pretty hard to the left overall, just with the exception of certain genres.
I thought it was political at first, too.
There’s a strong correlation there.
“Can big tech fix–” “No.”
I don’t know. I think reclaiming slurs can be a good thing, (queer, for example), but that one is inherently violent and I always feel uncomfortable when I hear it. Like, there’s a reason you didn’t write it out in your comment.
It is absolutely a racist song. It’s a “response” to Southern Man by Neil Young (great song btw)
I Will Survive
You’re not welcome anymore… >:(
That’s a great description of it. I hate that whole genre, tbh. It feels so fake.
I wouldn’t say I hate it, but for me it’s linger that I can’t listen to. I really love zombie though.
moonlight@fedia.ioOPto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What's the best setup for me? Which devices should I use?1·4 months agoThanks for the reply.
I’m definitely keeping Arch on my PC, I was just wondering what is the best way to use it for both desktop and couch gaming. I do have an old steam link I could potentially use, but I don’t know how that would really work. (I think I’d need to keep my PC running 24/7 for a seamless experience), but otherwise I was thinking I’d probably use the compute stick or Pi as the HTPC and stream games from the PC, but again that sounds a bit clunky to me, although I could at least watch stuff without the main PC on. Thoughts?
My other takeaways from your reply are that:
-
It’s a good idea to separate out home assistant from everything else
-
Network stuff doesn’t have to be separate
I’ll also research using cloud DNS instead.

My s10e had this, and it’s the best IMO.

One way roads and split highways exist, but even on any typical divided road, you obviously can still drive the wrong way. Either way, you’re conpletely missing the point. That phrase is used as a way of saying that if literally everyone else disagrees with you, then it’s a lot more likely that you’re the one who is wrong.
In this case, autism really doesn’t have an “opposite”. neurodevelopment is incredibly complex, and while some aspect exist on a spectrum, others don’t. (and the traits or development patterns that do exist on a spectrum in this case exist mostly between autistic and allistic traits, not between autism and some “opposite” pattern.
And the other traits you mentioned exist on their own orthoganal axes.
