In this case I’m happy I always installed Windows without RE partition. It works fine and you can still uninstall updates. Broken system files can also be replaced by a fresh pull from Windows Update.
A recovery environment is overrated under Windows. Just backup your files and reinstall from scratch.
I predict a huge demand of workforce in five years, when they finally realized AI doesn’t drive innovation, but recycles old ideas over and over.
Sounds to me like someone is looking for involuntary organ donators.
I wanna retrofit a 4090 to my OG Xbox. Any chance, that’s happening?
That moment when you wake up, still drunk from last night, and it’s slowly becoming clear what you have done during blackout.
Subscription fees? They can stream advertisements right into the brain. Best when sleeping.
Glad I use Nobara 😜
Do you folks wash your cars with concentrated acid?
That’s what I’m trying to say - in the probably most upsetting way - All of my distros - Ubuntu, Nobara, Debian and so on: all of them have vi as a symlink - only, these days.
I can’t confirm this. when using vi, I have syntax highlighting, split windows and even search and replace. Even my Termux installation states it’s vi improved, when issuing vi -h
.
There is no point in typing the “m” in vim. Just edit your files with the vi shortcut.
Sounds like a job for me. I would sleep on the production line 8h a day if they pay me for that.
Bigger companies are forced to do such programmes. I was working on a software tool for managing these ideas.
The problem I see here, is the software was boring, the project was boring and the users in charge are bored, too. There is hardly anyone who takes the process serious.
I’m not surprised, by IBM’s decision. However, I think they waste a lot of potential by not listening properly to their employers.
That’s straight the opposite of my experience. 🤭
And that’s why I prefer KVM, even in corporate environments: I don’t need to care about licensing and dropped support.
I bet, we don’t find a single Windows 8 user who uses Steam on that system. Similar applies to Win7.
When will we defederate from these 58.99% ?
EDIT: And why is lemmy.world federated to threads? I thought we are more strict about this.
“You wouldn’t download a car.”
Sounds like it’s time to turn my phone into a car already.
