#1 popup and tracker enjoyer over here

Not a bad idea, all things considered. The only issue is that I would need collo space and a VPS in non-DMCA land. The hardware behind a seedbox shouldn’t be that crazy anyways, just a lot of bandwidth and a lot of storage

Once I have a job I’m going to rent a seedbox for public trackers. Fuck DMCA!

Are you going to stop them?
Truck drivers aren’t the most progressive, but if they see fellow drivers getting harassed/attacked by four wheelers you can bet your ass they’re gonna go Mad Max on their asses for that

I have a CDL, Class A with X endorsement.
This changes nothing. CDL manuals, exams, and paperwork are all in English. What I think Trump thinks he’s doing is banning Mexicans from driving trucks in the US, but this is controlled by a reciprocity agreement between the US and Mexico. Surprise, Mexicans don’t have to take American exams for a CDL when they can have a license issued by the Mexican government.
Basically all this is is white supremacist virtue signaling.

Corporations would prefer to take away your right to public utilities than face a loss to their profit margin.

When engaging in criminal activity, you have no “legal” recourse for malicious behavior, so you work on the web of trust instead.
If you can’t trust the software, nor the publisher, nor the hash verified by however many seeders, then don’t download it in the first place. Me personally, considering I install indie porn games on the regular and never once gotten a virus that I know of, I think it’s worth it to trust others.
Of course you could always go into paranoid zero trust mode but sometimes being a social being means trusting the criminal serving you free shit isn’t ratfucking your data

Paranoia is not going to get me to bin my phone. Cell service and sms despite all it’s vulnerabilities are basically a requirement for life nowadays, unless you’re a squatting complete Diogenes type of anarchist. Which I say, bully to you comrade, but I need to go to work to pay rent

Time to start hosting Trojans on your website

Clearnet shall become brainfucked by states and corporations if’n it already hasn’t been, and OpenNIC and Dark Web pirates will reign supreme. Remember, this stuff only really affects public trackers and “cable pirates,” not sophisticated private tracker communities or anything else

I have no way of knowing. I think they’re the same imo
It’s the consequences of the MIT and Apache licenses showing up in real time.
GPL your software, people!

Thus to all proprietary software!

Zero trust. Assume everything is compromised and mitigate the risk from each thing that is compromised.
ISP spying on you? VPN, encryption, spoof a metadata trail to throw off any potential correlation attacks.
Compromised modem? Air gap stuff, use wired LAN, some other stuff idk.
And so on. Just keep in mind that sometimes, your data just isn’t that valuable, and plan accordingly

I think P2P especially BitTorrent is still strongly resistant against any type of fed fuckery, especially if you consider private trackers.
Streaming piracy sites are always going to fall because of DNS and other bullshit.
Personally I think it’s better if WWW moves beyond HTTP as a protocol
