I admit, I’m not well informed here. I’m just seeing everywhere about the far right and LePenn’s big win and headlines that talk about it as if it is a done deal.

Nah, it’s an automatic emergency response to the recent election.
Anything is better than this right wing shit show they just elected?
As a fellow Gen Zer
Fellow to whom now?
I listened to Dubliners by James Joyce narrated by irish actor Andrew Scott (Moriarty in Sherlock) and it was hands down the best narration I’ve ever heard.
What kind of generalisation are you trying to point out?
Thats not medieval, thats everywhere exept the US of A.
Where I live, apprenticeships are officially regulated and for many proffessions you are not allowed to open a business without proper qualification.
I drink all kinds of different tea. At the moment I often drink Keiko Matcha and lots of really beautiful green tea my friend sent me from Taiwan. I love to coldbrew green tea in summer. Greek mountain tea my parents bring me from crete. I also buy fresh mint to make tea from some of the fresh leaves and to dry the rest.
Besides that my favorite brand is The English Teashop in all forms it comes in and Cupper/Clipper.
Tea is simpler in preparation
Since I started drinking matcha, I disagree.
In my childhood teas were all named with colours. Mostly black, red and green. Green being mint and red fruity teas.
I recently discovered cold brew coffee for myself (bought a cold brew jug on a whim at TJmaxx as one does) and I love how the coffee just doesn’t have any bitterness anymore. The slow stewing in cold water really pulls out the flavour without the acidity.
I don’t think that is a general rule. Many people drink only black tea in the morning.
I never understood why it has to be one or the other.
Sometimes I prefer coffee, sometimes some green tea in the morning, sometimes a cup of matcha if I’m feeling fancy. A cup of lavender tea with honey in the evening can be pure bliss, but an Italian affogado (espresso with vanilla icecream) in the afternoon can also be really perfect.
Btw it is also possible to like cats AND dogs.
If you are into foreign films please look into german director Caroline Link.
She won an Oscar for foreign film with Nowhere in Africa , about the life of german-jewish writer Stefanie Zweig, who emigrated with her parents to Kenya under threat of Nazi Germany.
But my personal all time favorite movie is Beyond Silence about a hearing daughter of deaf parents who goes on and becomes a musician.
I’m german myself and generally consider german cinema an expensive form of torture with the great exception of Caroline Link.
It’s really worth it. It has a great story, that is based on true events, fantastic actors (John David Washington and Adam Driver) and a great director (Spike Lee).
A masterpiece.
I use my smartphone to keep my book open when reading at a table. It does a pretty good job there.
Don’t limit yourself to technical uses.
These films are meant to be a fantasy escape from real life. They are not meant to be realistic or to show any real struggle. They are supposed to show you a beautiful dream world including the big and real love and an otherwise carefree life.
Do he confirmed the local myth. 🤔
