1·2 months agoI don’t have one myself but I know someone with a HiBy R1 and he recommends it. It has a microSD slot and bluetooth, as well as a small touchscreen, so I’m pretty sure it fits what you’re looking for.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you love the look of despite it being impractical, uncomfortable, or high maintenance?English
26·2 months agoThe PowerMac G4 Cube. Absolutely gorgeous design, arguably the best looking computer ever. Horribly impractical even for the time and especially nowadays.
“Normal” social media tends to deteriorate my mental health rather quickly. Whether it’s the infinite scroll or types of posts there or both, it generally sucks. I saw the link to this instance in a youtube video a while back (i can’t for the life of me remember which video, it might’ve been simpleflips? idk) and decided to check it out. The smaller user base, control over my feed, lack of advertisements, and a more human-friendly UI make lemmy much more pleasant to use, and easier to regulate how much I end up browsing. The smaller quantity of posts and comments can be a bit of a let down sometimes but that just gives me more incentive to post and interact since it won’t get lost in the void too. Overall it’s just a more pleasant experience. Being federated means it’s a bit more bulletproof so-to-speak than something like cohost was (I miss that site); if blahaj ever shuts down I can move to another instance and still get to use lemmy which is nice. As for matrix, I haven’t tried it yet.

Keychron has a lot of options including some with hot-swap sockets that let you change the switches without desoldering. If you like clicky switches I would try out Kailh BOX white/jade switches, or just order a switch tester or something.
