it totally worked!

it totally worked!

you’re right. I just tried setting up the socks5 credentials which were the whole reason I even bought this VPN in the first place and they’re not working anyway. so screw it, time to start looking again.
Wait socks5 isn’t a kind of port forwarding is it? is what you just told me something I should have also tried using port 1080 but in my router settings as well?

well, my VPN is definitely trash and doesn’t have port forwarding. canyouseeme is not seeing me, it seems. none of my port settings are set in any app so I assume they’re all being managed for me. this is probably my problem and I need to study up on WAN in order to learn how to fix it

khinsider is great for OST’s too. it would have it in multiple versions

sent 👍

you know, I honestly just assumed it’s not allowed because that’s what I was used to on reddit. the rules here seem much more relaxed but I feel like I should be semi-discreet so they stay that way

that’s exactly what happened. this was so dope to watch happen

woah. I really didn’t know. I guess in that case it’s also strange it didn’t happen sooner

shit, whats this going to mean for repos like massgrave? will microsoft enforce shitty policies against DIY software that’s published there if it violates somebody’s terms of use?

you got it 👍

my client has an option to create a torrent file. I wouldn’t know how to compare the two though 🤔

honestly that wouldn’t surprise me, it happened before. Just hard to diagnose because it’s never consistent and Tribbler seems to be temperamental compared to other clients I’ve used.
after making some replacements other seeds showed up though and filled in the other files I hadn’t got to yet. so weird after 6 days of zero movement

beastly 👍

so I got a copies from Vimm’s Lair to overwrite and bump up the progress on the torrent. but I just noticed the new files only show that they’re 99.3-99.7% after overwriting and rechecking the torrent. would this indicate that they’re the wrong hash afterall?

ohhhh, that makes sense. yeah now that I’ve added this new files suddenly more seeds have showed up. also the number of peers has decreased to 1 (48). it seems like ever since I started using Tribbler as my client that these numbers fluxuate more than can be realistic

TY! :D I DID luck out. the first version that worked came literally from Vimm’s Lair which doesn’t offer multiple releases but I do prefer to use over other places.
you’re right, but the 8% stopped after the first day. it was dead since then. do some people only seed certain things on a rotation schedule?

you’re not wrong. it probably isn’t worth the bother because these are all available elsewhere but I think I just got sentimental about how leeched the torrent is. it’s a good collection, and what if there’s like a kid somewhere who ends up discovering p2p through this? not likely but I think I like to dream

that’s what I’m assuming. I know even GBA roms have different versions that got shipped to different countries. but some sites over multiple versions for you to download so I was planning on rechecking the torrent after every overwrite until I see the progress bar leap up for that file.
still seems to easy to actually work though, right?
edit:FUCK FUCK FUCK IT WORKED HOLY SHIT BOYS

sent. thanks, man. thats gangster as fuck. Just curious because again, I’m still pretty ignorant. do you assume you also have the torrent because you’re a data hoarder or are you interested in trying to help me bring it back?

That is mega based considering no government military attacked them. That’s presumably the Ghandi trap at work, which is a good sign for them
