Why does one need so many virtual phones for swat threats?
You don’t need phones. They are emulated. Better to call it a SIM farm but phone farm is good enough a term colloquially.
I certainly would be outraged to have a bot assigned to me, as an adult.
Worth trying with kids. They play with dolls after all and imaginary friends.

However she then paid for a subscription because she likes the “conversations”. Am feeling guilty now. Better check on her that she isn’t losing the plot.

And what about the unwieldy suffix Facebook adds? That must be for tracking reasons but why is it so loooooooooong? Surely a unique identifier wouldn’t require many characters. Is it executable code?

SimpleX uses Signal tech AFAIK but without requiring phone number or email address.
