For someone wanting the best raytracing performance and AV1 encoding, isn’t the 40 series the only to choose?
People that don’t care about raytracing, it would not apply to them, but for AV1 recording and raytracing, what other choice is there?

I guess Intel Arc GPUs are pretty decent for their prices at 1080p and could hold itself against an RTX 4060 https://youtu.be/ORbmU7Uq2kg
Arc has really bad DX11 performance.
Oh yes, I know, but if all you care about is raytracing then it’s okay because 99% of raytraced games are DX12
Yes, raytracing is DX12 and Vulkan. But having Arc, if I happen to play an older DX11 game, and I do, the performance falls off. I’m not willing to restrict which games I play based on the display technology a game uses.
So Intel is out for DX11. Radeon is not as good for raytracing, that only leaves nVidia 40 series that does everything for DX11 and the best raytracing.
