Can you explain how EU is helping Taiwan? Not saying it is not. I just do not get it how EU is helping Taiwan figuring its future.

I agree. I would include more human rights respecting democracies in EU. So the meme just referes to the general vibe between regions. How I interpreted it, I assumed EU actually offered some actual help or aliance or protection for Taiwan.
